Local
legend has it that 18th century pirates visited
a brothel located on the island, sought
their pleasure and sailed away. The "Love and
Go Island",
hence the name Lovango. Of course the brothel
inhabitants would have to wade
out to the pirate ships and that’s why to this day most ladies
of pleasure are seen wearing boots.
